On Monday 29th December, Mr Gardner (Senior Deputy Head, Teaching and Learning) and our Lead Teachers in the Senior School presented the Learning for Life Curriculum Conversation event.

Primarily aimed at parents with daughters in Years 7-9, the session focussed on opportunities to extend learning outside of the classroom in order to help students to consider wider perspectives linked to their curriculum learning in School.

To help facilitate these extended opportunities, we shared the topics which each department will be focussing on over the next two terms as a useful reference point to enable parents to plan activities which develop the learner skills and attributes explored in the session. For parents in Years 7-9 who were unable to attend the session, we would like to extend access to these topics by providing you with links to the following year group specific documents: Year 7Year 8Year 9.

Our next Curriculum Conversation takes place at the end of January and will be led by Ms Teale (Deputy Head, Pastoral) and her Pastoral Team. We very much hope that you will be able to join us for that event and further details will be communicated at the start of the Spring Term.
