We’re super proud of BGS alumna, Heidi Lawson (2016), whose promising rugby career is going from strength-to-strength with the Bedford Blues Women. On Saturday, Flanker Heidi was voted Player of the Match following Bedford Blues Women away victory against the Shelford Ladies Nomads.

Following BGS, Heidi has pursued a career in business and currently owns a high street store selling greetings cards, which she has set up with the view to potentially be a franchise in the future.

Bedford is a proud rugby town and it is great to see one of our sporting alumnae playing for our local club. BGS has seen a number of great talented athletes pass through its doors. We have a proud sporting history and celebrate the successes of our current students and alumnae with many having performed at the very highest level within their chosen sport.
