Many congratulations to alumna, Gloria Onitiri (DAHS 2002), who has been cast as Desiree in Ben Elton’s West End play, The Upstart Crow.

Also starring David Mitchell as Will and Gemma Whelan as Kate, the production opened its doors at the Apollo Theatre in London on Friday 23rd September and runs until Saturday 3rd December 2022.

Recognised as a gifted and versatile performer at school, Gloria admirably combined her studies whilst actively involved with the National Youth Music Theatre, going on to have a very successful career, both on the stage and in television. Some of her best-known work includes leading West End roles as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard, Nala in The Lion King, The Godmother in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella and most recently Lucy in Rehab: The Musical.
