Last Friday evening saw the qualifying round for the annual Secondary Schools' Team Championships this event comprises two races for each age group, the freestyle and Medley relay.

We had three teams enter, Junior (Years 7 and 8) Intermediate (Years 9 and 10) and Senior (Years 11, 12 and 13). All the teams raced very well in a very competitive regional round, notable achievements were the Intermediate team who finished 3rd and 4th in their relays.

We will find out this weekend whether we have qualified to attend the National Final, which is being held at the London Olympic Park on the 19th November. Fingers and toes crossed!

Following these impressive performances, we are proud to announce that both Intermediate relays and the Seniors (4x50m medley relay) have qualified for the National Finals, which will be taking place at the London Olympic Park on the 19th November.
