By Mrs Lizzie Thomas (Chair of The Association)
The Association looks forward to welcoming the BGS community to this year’s Christmas Fayre on Saturday 3rd December from 2:00pm - 4:30 pm and the wreath making workshop on Sunday 4th December, 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
As always, the Junior School choir will be performing their lovely medley of festive favourites, which you can listen to whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine with a mince pie.
There will be stalls selling a variety of items such as jewellery, clothing, candles, scarves, Christmas decorations, skincare, health and wellness items, food and drink, gifts and much more. We still have limited availability for stall hire at the Fayre, if you are interested in having a pitch please click here.
The ‘Students Room’ will be full of festive fun, from traditional games to glitter tattoos and crafts. There will also be sweets and cakes for sale. This room is run by the students, for the students. So, adults... enter at your own risk!! And Santa himself is rumoured to be making an appearance!
Entry to the fayre is free for children and £3 per adult including tea or coffee and a cake. Parking is free and family & friends are all welcome!
We will be holding a second-hand uniform sale as part of the Fayre. If you wish to donate or sell items, these can be left at the Senior School Reception until Wednesday 30th November. Items for resale or donation must be in a clean condition and on coat hangers with labels attached. Please click here to access the links for further information including, prices, labels and sellers’ sheet.
WE NEED YOUR UNWANTED DECORATIONS! Has your tinsel lost its lustre for you? Do your baubles not match your decor anymore? Well fear not! The Association wants your unwanted but good quality decorations! We are accepting bagged or boxed donations at the Senior School reception. Please note that we are unable to accept any electrical equipment, including lights. If you have large decorations, please do not bring them to reception. Contact us at [email protected] to arrange delivery or pick up. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday 30th November.
If you have any questions or would like to offer help in setting up or on the day, please email [email protected]
And finally; don’t forget to book your place at the wreath-making workshop on Sunday 4th December. Places are filling up fast, so book now to avoid disappointment at the email address above!
