On Monday 19th June, Lower Sixth students from BGS and Bedford School came together for an exciting rounders game organised by Maisie Payne, Service Captain and her team in support of the two school charities, United World Schools and FACES. The event turned out to be a fantastic way for students to engage in friendly competition while fostering social connections.

The mixed teams competed with a friendly rivalry over a number of innings, and everyone enjoyed socialising in between. It was a perfect summer evening, and the sale of ice creams proved a popular bonus. The event raised £200.

Service prefect Serena Parsons (12DEH) said: “The rounders match provided us with a wonderful opportunity to come together for some friendly competition, following a busy couple of weeks. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone, and we are looking forward to the joint netball match planned for next term.”
