After the rip-roaring success of Daisy Pulls It Off in the Autumn Term, we now look ahead to the upcoming production of High School Musical, which takes place from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th March 2024 in the Studio Theatre. Auditions were held for our Year 9 and 10 students in October, with record numbers attending.

The Drama and Music departments are working in collaboration on this project, and all staff were completely blown away by the talent of the students. Once roles had been allocated, the cast dashed straight into rehearsals where, as one would expect, jazz hands were aplenty! The whole company took to the material immediately with vigour and enthusiasm; the American accents and accentuated physicality came almost naturally.

Rehearsals have continued throughout the Autumn Term, and we have picked straight back up in the Spring. The cast is doing a phenomenal job of learning a huge amount of dialogue, songs, and dances, and the production is already looking amazing!
