When a member of our student forum mentioned the idea of Macarons for a dessert option in the dining hall, we initially thought it was a no-go, as the main ingredient in a traditional Macaron is almonds.
Mentioning this to Mrs Masih (Pastry Chef) in passing, she decided to take it as a challenge to perfect a nut-free version. We think she has done an outstanding job - this recipe looks great and tastes even better.
