We're thrilled to announce that martial artist, Ella Riley (Year 11), has achieved a remarkable 2nd-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
Ella's journey to this achievement is nothing short of inspiring. She has been involved in many years of tough training, comprising countless hours of disciplined practice, challenging drills, and patterns, as well as mental conditioning. Achieving a 2nd-degree black belt, Ella underwent a rigorous assessment to demonstrate her proficiency in various aspects of Taekwondo, showcasing her skill, technique and commitment to this martial art.
Ella proudly represents UKTI ITF Taekwondo, where she has dedicated herself to the practice for 12 years. Her journey began at just 4 years old, and she has honed her skills through consistent training and many competitions, earning plenty of medals and awards.
Reflecting on her achievement, Ella said: “Receiving my 2nd-degree black belt in Taekwondo has been a dream come true. It has been challenging, demanding both physical and mental strength. I am incredibly grateful for the support of my instructors and the entire club.”
