Photo – 2023 Iftar event.

Following the success of last year’s Iftar ceremony at the school, The Association and the BGS Islam Society are delighted to invite you to join us on Wednesday 20th March for a celebration of Ramadan 2024.   

The event will take place in the Senior School Dining Hall from 5:00pm. There will be activities leading up to the call for prayer by the Imam, followed by the breaking of the fast. We invite you to bring food to share amongst the guests. This will be a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to your family’s favourite dish, or perhaps something that holds significance to you at this important time of year. *    

This event is open to the entire BGS community. It will be a chance for everyone to discover more about this hugely important event in the Muslim calendar, and to enjoy a meal with friends, old and new. Soft drinks will be provided and please note that this will be a strictly alcohol-free event. 

If you would like to attend this event, please click here to let us know how many people will be attending from your family and if you intend to bring food.  

When arriving, please enter through the Bursary Gates and come straight to the Dining Room at 5:00pm. The event should end by 8:00pm at the latest.
