Sixth Form The Bridge Careers Service

On Tuesday 18th June, the Lower Sixth Students participated in a morning of discovery at the UCAS Exhibition located at the University of Bedfordshire.

This was an opportunity for students to get in touch with universities, colleges, apprenticeship providers, and employers ready to help them plan for their future.

It was a fun-filled day of exploration, with many eager to head to the Exhibitors Lounge to chat to universities and colleges about their courses and university life, and to speak to employers about what an apprenticeship is like and the options available. Many students also took advantage of the subject talks held throughout the campus, listening to experts in their fields.

As the students walked around, they got involved with demonstrations such as sound engineering, design, forensic science, and more. It was exciting to see students fully participate in the morning activities while also informing themselves of their options and routes to higher education. They received dedicated support from UCAS experts about their future choices.

We hope to attend future UCAS Exhibitions to give Lower Sixth students the opportunity to get in touch with professionals, meet with universities, and explore their options after Sixth Form.
