We are delighted to invite you to the 2024 BGS Christmas Fayre on Saturday 7th December.

This annual celebration is a highlight of the school calendar, bringing together our community to enjoy the holiday spirit and support fundraising for The Association (PTA).

Doors will open at 2pm until 4.30pm. It costs just £3 for adults to enter which also includes a mince pie. Children under 16 go free!

The Fayre is full of festive fun for everyone including:

• Santa’s Grotto: A magical experience for the little ones. No booking required.
• The Girls’ Room: A hub of games, competitions and stalls for all to enjoy.
• Newly New Uniform Sale: Bargains await in the Sixth Form Hub!
• Christmas Market: Discover wonderful gifts from local Bedford businesses.
• Junior School Choir: Enjoy festive music from our talented students, adding festive cheer.
• Elfridges: A gift shop with a range of small, affordable items for students to buy for family, friends, or even themselves!
• New this year, we’re excited to introduce – ‘Fun & Games’ including a Bouncy Castle. 

We are seeking donations to help make this event a success, and all contributions are warmly appreciated. For the Chocolate Tombola, we welcome donations of chocolate boxes and biscuits. For the Jam Jar Tombola, filled jars with small items such as sweets, stationery, or hair accessories would be wonderful (please wrap the jars to keep the contents a surprise). Baked goods are also welcome closer to the event for our Cake Stall, please clearly mark all ingredients and remember that Bedford Girls' School is a nut-free school. Please leave donations at either the Senior or Junior School receptions from Monday 25th November.

If you would like to assist us in transforming the school into a winter wonderland, we would be grateful for any help you can provide on the evening of Friday 6th December. Whether it’s an hour or more, any contribution makes a difference.
