BGS is proud to continue its support for the Bedford charity, FACES, our chosen school charity.

FACES provides vital assistance to families and children in need across the local community, and we are delighted to maintain this partnership.

In a recent assembly, Year 7 and 8 students heard from Michaela Martindale, CEO of FACES, who spoke about the charity’s work and its impact in the community. The assembly also saw the current FACES committee present Michaela with a cheque, representing funds raised by the school last academic year which was an impressive £6,910.

This term, Year 7 students enjoyed their service afternoon today and are now looking forward to their Christmas Movie Night on Monday 9th December. Meanwhile, the Year 8 FACES committee is busy organising a Lunchtime Funtime event for the last week of term.

These activities highlight the school’s ongoing commitment to supporting FACES, strengthening ties with the local community and contributing to the important work the charity does.
