Last Friday, our Junior School Leadership Group stayed behind after school on a secret mission to decorate our two Christmas Trees and Reception areas, spreading some Christmas cheer around the school. 

Three of our Junior School leaders, Aarna, Victoria and Sanya have written about the experience: 

“On Friday 29th November, we stayed on after school to decorate the Junior School Christmas trees. It was a fun way to meet up with the team and a really inclusive experience. First, we were welcomed with biscuits and delicious hot chocolate and after that we were ready to get to work. 

“We had to use our planning skills at first to make sure we had a good colour co-ordinated scheme: in the Randle Hall we chose cool blues,pinks,green and silver baubles to go with the cool white lights and in the front entrance we chose golds and reds to complement the warm yellow tree lights. We learnt that there was an important order: lights, then tinsel, then baubles. Lastly, we put on the star. Which made it feel perfect.
