We are delighted to announce that talented young dancer, Tiggy Wilcocks (Year 8), has been selected to join a 100-strong cast of English Youth Ballet’s (EYB’s) production of Cinderella in Hollywood.

The performances will take place at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th March 2025.

A member of the Creative Force Dance Academy, Tiggy earned her place in the EYB cast after impressing at auditions attended by over 250 dancers in November. As part of the production, Tiggy will experience the life of a professional dancer in rehearsals and perform alongside international professionals.

Set against the glamorous backdrop of 1950s Hollywood, this lavish production takes inspiration from the story of Grace Kelly, who met Prince Rainier of Monaco at a press party before their famous marriage.

Tiggy reflected: “I've been doing ballet since I was two. We had to do different combinations of dances and we had to learn quite a few different dances and then perform them. My sister used to do it as well which is one of the reasons why I am doing it too. My favourite part of the process was finding out that I got in! I am looking forward to getting to perform in front of my family. I am nervous and excited about performing, it may be a good learning experience because it's something I haven't done before.”

Founded in 1998, EYB presents full-length classical ballets in regional theatres across Great Britain and Northern Ireland, giving dancers aged 8-18 years the chance to perform in a professional setting.
