We were thrilled and lucky to be able to welcome Onatti Productions and their latest French play called Prendre sa revanche. Their interactive performance gave our students from Years 8 to 11 the fantastic opportunity to practise their language skills ( listening essentially), whilst enjoying improvised ’comedy’, mostly all in French, bar the ‘English tourist’ our main protagonists were hoping to scam!

The plot: Prendre sa revanche tells the hilarious story of two antique dealers trying to dupe customers by selling fake artifacts as real. However, their scam backfires when a quick-thinking customer turns the tables on them. The result? Comedy, clever dialogue, and a satisfying dose of revenge!

A special mention to Grace, Isabella and Emily who played different parts in the play and performed confidently in front of their peers. They had fun being involved and brave!

Meanwhile, in the audience Kitty thought that ’the play was very inspiring and fun. It had a great story to it and had lots of opportunities to go up and help out and they (the actors) helped us understand it all when we needed it. It was also very funny to watch. The pink set was  very realistic and stood out from the crowd.
