As part of National Careers Week, BGS welcomed Hena Vissian as its latest lunchbox lecturer.
The girls gained valuable insight into life as a barrister and routes into the profession, as well as hearing about changes and the effects they will have on future graduates.
Girls were able to ask pertinent questions and received useful advice on how to further their experience in order to strengthen an application.
Other questions raised included the difference between a solicitor and a barrister, the pros and cons of a law conversion course after an undergraduate degree in an alternative subject, and how to choose a specialty.
At the end of the session girls were also able to get their hands on a criminal justice gown and wig.
