Caitlyn Ward (Lower Sixth)

On Monday evening, a group of Sixth Form students organised a fundraising showcase, raising funds for Sue Ryder St John's Hospice.

The Sixth Form students performed a variety of musical pieces, such as a fantastic saxophone performance and some well-known classics, like Jolene. A huge thank you to Kirsty Stark, Sarah Beard, Beth Lowry, Beth Hammond and Emily Baker for their wonderful performances on the night and to Charlize Boul for her dedication.

We could not have organised the evening without Rebecca Nisbet (Service Captain) help. We managed to raise a fantastic £336.20, achieving a combined total of £673.53 after last year's fundraiser, so thank you to everyone who donated so kindly.

The funds are going to a worthy cause, please do check out their website if you haven’t heard of them. We would love to do this event again next year, so do keep an ear out, as we wouldn’t want you to miss out!
