There has been oodles of swimming Galas this term, some of the highlights have been the annual senior invitational Bromsgrove relays. We were very lucky with the depth of swimmers within the U15 age group.

BGS entered an A and B team, with both making it into the finals of the relays. This resulted in two silver medals and many personal bests form the individual swimmers.

The juniors raced against St Faith’s School, Cambridge and Bedford School last week in a triangular fixture. There were so many impressive performances. It was great to see all the hard work the girls have been putting into their training pay off with displays of great technique and speed.

Over the last few weekends, a huge amount of girls have been competing with their swimming clubs at their county swimming championships. Successes include three county champions, girls making regional qualifying times, podium finishes and many personal best times.
