Textiles artist and teacher, Ms Paula de Santis Smith is featured in Paul Smith’s new book, Paul Smith by Rottingdean Bazaar.

The collaborative book has been released to coincide with PhotoLondon 2019; it features re-interpretations of the iconic Paul Smith stripe and interviews with other Paul Smiths of the world. A Textile Artist and Designer who has a passion for colour and the embellishment of cloth, Ms de Santis Smith is joined by a group of Paul and Paula Smiths from all over the country who were cast on Facebook.

She said: “On Monday 8th April, I was involved with a photoshoot for a Paul Smith book and was one of twelve people to be selected, who shared Paul Smith’s name. The other people were from various professional backgrounds including a photographer, street artist, vicar, strong man, taxi driver, student, teacher, personal trainer etc. 

"The book also promoted some of my own design work; this is what I do when I am not in school. The book was launched in Dover Street Market, Haymarket London as part of the PhotoLondon 2019 event.”
