Many congratulations to talented alpine skier Holly Tutt (Year 8), who claimed first place in the U14 category of the British Schools Ski Racing Championships (15th September) at the Milton Keynes Snozone. Representing BGS, Holly also placed 5th overall amongst all U14-U19 year olds.
During the summer break, Holly has enjoyed huge success with the Ambition Racing Team. She won the U14 Milton Keynes National Race on 13th July. The following day she placed 3rd U14 in a GBR series race.
Next up, Holly will be competing at the Lowlands Championships at Landgraaf, The Netherlands on 28th-29th September. This is a big race with six nations competing (Great Britain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg and Denmark).
Holly is currently part of the Ambition Racing Team, where she spends around 10-12 weeks a year training with them. Ambition Racing is recognised as one of GBR's leading alpine ski racing academies. The programme has been responsible for producing a number of Britain's top alpine ski racers for over a decade.
