On Saturday, six lacrosse teams produced outstanding performances against St Albans High School at Cople Fields.

The U13a and U12a teams played valiantly. Both teams were evenly matched against their opponents, swapping the lead throughout the entirety of their fixtures. 

The U13s stepped up to play a high-pressure defense, creating havoc for the St Albans attack. They came back from a three-goal deficit, to a score of 10-11 loss. The U12s had multiple scorers for their team, two interceptions, and four goalie saves ending with a score of 7-9 loss. 

Though the final scores did not favour BGS on Saturday, both teams played with grace, skill, and tenacity.

In other fixtures, the U19a (11-3) , U19b (7-2) , U15a (8-4) , U14a (12-2) all came out on top with wins in each of their matches.The command of each of these teams came through, leading BGS to comfortable leads early on.  Each team led by at least four goals in the final scores, never falling behind. 

BGS will be hosting another block fixture with 11 teams facing North London Collegiate School on the morning of Saturday 25th January.
