At this time of year, our Lower Sixth students increase their focus on life after BGS. The current cohort came back in to school throughout the week, for socially distanced afternoons to register with UCAS and turn their attention to course choices, personal statements, apprenticeship research and CV writing.

In late June, we were delighted to virtually welcome back alumna Ciara Blackham (BGS 2016) for our first online LunchBox Lecture. Ciara is completing her degree in Accountancy at the University of Nottingham as part of PwC's Flying Start degree programme. She shared her experiences with a group of Lower Sixth on the programme's application process, what it has been like to work and study at the same time, going on to pursue a career in business and what student life is like in Nottingham.
