Many congratulations to Avleen Jandu (Year 11), who has achieved 6th place out of 114 entrants in the Brillders Brilliant Minds competition and also reached the finals in the University of Law’s Real World Questions essay competition.
Avleen reflected on these achievements: “During the summer, I entered the University of Law essay competition. My essay question was ‘How can businesses stay positive in uncertain times?’, and I researched seven ways that a business can stay positive, relating it back to current world issues. Although I didn’t come first, I was a finalist in the competition and am happy with my achievement as well as the feedback I received from the judges. I am keen to implement this feedback next summer, when I re-enter the competition to see how much I have improved.
“I also entered the Brillders Brilliant Minds competition, which involved completing a weekly task and questions every week. Although I didn’t end up winning the overall category, I came joint first on a few weekly tasks, and came 6th overall with an average score of 97.9%.”
Amazing achievements, well done, Avleen!
