Last week, our Sixth Form mathematicians attended a Bedford School lecture titled To Infinity & Beyond by Philip Coggins. 

A natural presenter, Philip had the crowd in hysterics while simultaneously articulating the complexities of numbers and in particular the concept of infinity. Both Bedford Girls’ School and Bedford School students were left with a greater understanding of numbers. 

It was a great evening and we are all looking forward to this week when Thomas Pelling , an ex-Bedford School student who currently studies at the University of Cambridge, is delivering a lecture titled Solving Problems Using Combinatorial Generating Functions.
