On Thursday 5 May, the Careers team were excited to set-up their very first Bridge Pop-up in the Green Room. This was an opportunity for students of all years to visit us outside the Sixth Form House and learn more about what The Bridge BGS Careers Service has to offer and how we support students during and after their time at BGS.

Besides being present to answer all questions, we had a few fun activities planned for students to earn sweet treats and house points. This included our Bridge Treasure Hunt, a chance for students to explore careers throughout the school with the use of clues. We also began our Dream Job Inspo Board Competition, where students were asked to show us what their dream job looked like by designing their own inspo board full of pictures, drawings, quotes and more. It was very exciting to see so many students participate in our festive plans, watching groups race to find all the hidden figures around the school and seeing all the creative inspo board submissions.

We were also thrilled to unveil our new careers site, The Bridge Hub, a central place for career related resources. The site contains multiple pages, with varying content, for students to explore all the fantastic opportunities and resources available to them, as well as view any upcoming Bridge events.

It was an exciting afternoon for students to come visit us and check out our new careers tool, perhaps we will see another Bridge Pop-up in the future!
