With the season up and running across the county, tennis fever has returned to BGS! Our Years 7 and 8 development teams were eager to put their skills into action at the Partnership Tennis Tournament at the Riverside LTC on Friday 27th May.

The teams played timed singles matches against their opposite number from all the other partnership schools present including Sharnbrook Academy, Bedford Academy, Biddenham , Kempston Challenger Academy, Goldington and Bedford Modern School.

The tennis grew stronger with every match and umpiring and maths skills were put to the test! After some outstanding performances, the Year 7 team placed 7th and Year 8 team placed second.

Well done to all the students, you were a credit to BGS!
