We’re delighted to announce that Ella Gentle (Year 9) has been selected to represent Team England at the upcoming Dance World Cup (24th June - 2nd July 2022) in San Sebastian, Spain. 

Ella will be competing alongside her team, Elev8 Studios Dance Academy. The event – which welcomes all dance genres – will have thousands of competitors take part from countries all over the world

Ella started dancing when she was four years old and was lucky to dance at the Dance World Cup in Germany 2017, where she represented Team England. During the competition, Ella will perform in the following groups dances - a small ballet group, the Spanish waltz, modern group 'Toys', lyrical group 'life in lockdown' and a musical theatre group 'Joseph'. Ella has worked really hard and trains each night after school, she also trains in RAD ballet, pointe, tap, modern, lyrical, Greek, and commercial with her favourite class specialising in leaps and turns. 

Ella said: “I am so excited for the Dance World Cup and can't wait to get there and represent Team England. I am also looking forward to receiving my official Team England Kit this weekend.”
