On Thursday 9th March, the Years 8 and 9 students had the opportunity to watch a Spanish play performed by professional actors from Spain called Mi Personalidad.

It was a humorous and engaging play whereby we understood a vast amount therefore enabling us to take part in various scenes. The synopsis of the play was about a boy named Fernando attending his first day of university and meeting a mystery girl he was interested in. He tried several times to talk and have a coffee with her but each time rejected. A girl called Carla mysteriously knew about his first day and offered to help advise him to change his clothes, mannerism and most importantly personality. Although she tried to be of help, at times Fernando didn’t fully appreciate her. Eventually, he changed his personality for the mystery university girl who finally agreed to go out with him.

The actors used hand gestures and familiar language to help us understand the play, on the whole it was very enjoyable and had a great plot!
