When did you join the BGS Community?
I joined the BGS community in Year 5.
How did you get involved with the new BGS Sixth Form TikTok?
As I am looking at a future career in marketing, when the offer arose to run the Sixth Form TikTok with Miss Duckworth the Admissions and Marketing Assistant, I fully embraced the opportunity. I have always been interested in the ways in which we tell our story, about the innovative and interesting things we do at BGS and this was a fantastic platform to do so.
The TikTok page has been very successful in its first few weeks, what are your plans for maintaining the following?
From the previous success the TikTok account has acquired, I felt it was really important that I maintain this by being aware of the current trends and what appeals to the young adults of today. I will continue to post engaging content consistently ensuring it will be fun whilst also being informative.
What has been your favourite thing so far about running the TikTok account?
From gaining the opportunity to engage with this form of social media, I have found that my favourite aspect of this so far has been the opportunity to have the freedom and creativity to promote the Sixth Form from a student perspective.
What skills are you hoping to gain from running the account?
I hope to develop my marketing skills further and continue to improve my collaboration and communication skills in order to make a wider impact to my target audience.
What are your aspirations for when you leave BGS?
I intend to go to university to study Business Marketing and I hope the skills I have learnt through running this account will benefit my future career.
How would you promote BGS to a potential Sixth Form student?
By posting various TikToks on the beautiful facilities around the Sixth Form including The Hub, Chequers, The well-being room and the courtyard. As well as creating content showing Sixth Formers in situ, in order to gain the attention of parents and students interested.
