By Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)
In a celebration of the start of the festive season, our Year 3 girls graced the stage with their much-anticipated production, Bethlehem B&B. The performance left a lasting impression on everyone in the audience, showcasing mightier voices and impeccably rehearsed words.
Under the guidance of Mrs Parsons (Deputy Director of Music), the girls have worked tirelessly on their musical numbers. The choreography, skilfully crafted by Miss Bream, added to the production with every move which complemented the narrative.
This year, we took a collaborative approach that involved Year 6 narrators and behind-the-scenes set movers. The Year 6 narrators brought an extra layer of sophistication to the storytelling, guiding the audience through the heart-warming tale with their poised narration. Serving as mentors, they not only shared their experience but also provided invaluable support to the younger cast members, creating a sense of camaraderie that extended beyond the stage.
Behind the scenes, the set movers, often unnoticed but indispensable, worked seamlessly to transform the stage into the enchanting world of Bethlehem B&B. Their dedication and hard work ensured that every scene transition was smooth, allowing the audience to be fully immersed in the production. It was a night to remember, filled with joy and pride in our youngest students' accomplishments.
