At BGS, we recognise achievements both in and out of the classroom. This week, we are pleased to share Maisey’s (Year 3) success on the football pitch.
A dedicated player for the Lionesses Wildcats, Woburn & Wavendon FC, Maisey has been named Player of the Match for four consecutive weeks. Chosen by the opposition team, this award recognises a player who has shown teamwork, skill, and determination. Maisey’s ability to read the game, support her teammates and play with confidence has stood out.
Reflecting the values of our BGS Sporting Curriculum, Maisey demonstrates attitude, commitment, and effort in all she does. Her approach to developing her skills, her positive mindset on and off the pitch, and her support for others set a great example for younger athletes.
This week, Maisey shared her Player of the Match trophy with the Year 3s, inspiring younger students through her enthusiasm and commitment. Her success highlights the value of teamwork and perseverance, qualities we encourage at BGS in all areas of school life.
At BGS, we take pride in celebrating the whole child, recognising achievements beyond the classroom as well as within it. This week, I am delighted to shine a spotlight on Maisey, who has demonstrated incredible dedication, skill, and sportsmanship on the football pitch.
Well done, Maisey! We can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
