Pantomime-Gnome Alone!

Junior School

By Mrs Schofield (Head of Year 4)

It's that time of year again, where Years 3 and 4 girls walk to Bedford Prep School to enjoy a pantomime. The girls laughed and chatted as they made their way through the High Street. On arrival, the girls were immediately asked to join in singing some favourite Christmas songs, which they did with lots of energy.

The panto did not disappoint, as it was a riot of colour and silly acting to draw the audience in and get them involved. Even the teachers found themselves part of the show at times, which was even more entertaining for the girls and boys watching.

The show had a moral, as always, this time focusing on being kind and being a good friend. Everyone had such fun and enjoyed a treat of a biscuit and squash before walking back to school. It really was a treat!"

Grace (Year 4) said: “I loved the fact it was interactive.” Avneet (Year 4) added: “It taught us a good lesson.”
