Before half term and during this week, mathematicians across the school have been competing for the coveted House Times Table Bee competition trophies.

The House Times Table Bee Finals took place on Wednesday with trophies up for grabs in four categories: Junior School (Years 5 and 6), Senior School, Sixth Form and Staff.

Students and staff had already competed in heats in the previous week, and the top 5 from each category made it through to the Grand Final.

After a very exciting competition, with incredibly high standards, Jaya Ladher (Year 6), Nicky Kumar (Year 9) and Martha Ibbott (Lower Sixth) were awarded the trophies as they got most times tables right in their categories. For the staff, Mrs Smith (PE) and Mrs Lewis were tied at the top, following their impressive efforts, and each had a trophy.

A big well done to everyone that participated in this annual event!
