On Tuesday 14th May, Co-Curricular Dance students from Years 6-10 were invited to take part in a Musical Dance Theatre workshop delivered by Mike Denman.

Mike has performed in many West End productions including the Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium and The Bodyguard, he is also a teacher and choreographer. With boundless energy and enthusiasm our Years 6 and 7 students successfully mastered a cleverly characterised a section of repertoire from The Wizard of Oz, while the Years 8- 10 students mastered the ‘disco style’ steps and complex patterns of Saturday Night Fever.

Our students delivered such high standards of Dance and Drama skills and talent, and their ability to creatively improvise was clearly evident. The icing on the cake was the amount of sheer fun the students experienced from beginning to end.
