We are thrilled to announce that Holly Tutt (Upper Sixth) has been selected for the U18 Snowsport England Alpine Squad for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Holly was chosen based on the criteria of having reduced her FIS seed points (international seeding) in Giant Slalom from a starting point of 999.99 to below 110—she currently has 101.69 seed points. She will be representing England and GB at ski races throughout the 2024/25 season.
Holly reflected on her selection: “I am very pleased to have been selected to represent England as part of the U18 England Alpine Squad. The first season of racing at FIS level was tough, so it was a great achievement for me to reduce my points enough to be selected for the team.”
Holly has taken a break from racing since April and has been concentrating on working hard in the gym and cycling. She is due to attend a training camp in Hintertux, Austria, over the October half-term with her team, Alpine Performance Racing, and then move on to Kabdalis in Swedish Lapland during November, where she may also race. After that, Holly will be heading to her team base in Valdidentro, Bormio, Italy, in December to begin the full race season.
