This Autumn term, we are thrilled to announce we are re-launching Theatre Crew in a brand-new style. Starting with weekly introduction sessions covering all things theatre. From set, lighting, costume, sound design and more - we will cover everything ‘behind the scenes’.  We aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career and/or life-long hobby, gaining hands-on experience and valuable skills that extend far beyond the stage.

We want to focus on how all elements of stage design are transdisciplinary, giving our students foundation skills that can be applied to all aspects of life and future career. They will not only gain technical expertise, but have the opportunity to explore their creativity, problem solving and working together as a team.

Our next session will be on Monday 23rd September, where Mrs Jennings will be exploring her illustrious career in Film Productions. From Mary Queen of Scots to Guardians of The Galaxy, her wealth of knowledge is not to be missed.

The department was excited to see so many students come along to our first session and hope to see many more new faces as the term goes on.
