Year 6 visited Think Tank on Tuesday (17th November), an interactive Science museum in Birmingham.

Throughout the day the girls found out about topics including inventions from the past, gadgets and gizmos, medicine matters and wildlife.

Mrs Childs, Head of Year 6, said: “The girls had a fantastic time learning about changes and exploring elements that make the UK part of a Brave New World, which is this term’s Unit of Enquiry.”

In the Futures section there was a chance to explore and research current developments, while pupils could also programme and operate a robot and a robotic arm to play the drums.

A highlight of the day was the Science Garden where there were experiments associated with energy, mechanisms and movement, including a chance to lift your body using a pulley system and a human hamster wheel.
