The Mighty Zulu Nation Warriors held a fun spectacular workshop for Year 6 BGS and Bedford Prep School on Friday 28th April in Randle Hall.
The cast of professional performers originate from the city of Durban, in the kingdom of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
They performed spectacular traditional Zulu dance sequences, accompanied by Zulu drums. After listening to the incredible harmony of the Zulu songs, Year 6 had the opportunity to dance and sing in the Zulu language.
Linking to the Footprints unit of enquiry, this fun, interactive workshop provided opportunity for cultural diversity awareness. Pupils were awe-inspired by the workshop.
Gabriela Woodroffe-Gomez, said: “This really helped us learn about different cultures in the world”.
