Year 5 marked the end of their term’s work on their World War Two Unit of Enquiry, We’ll Meet Again, with their year group production of Working for Victory, a play written specifically for the girls by Mrs Redford, Head of Speech and Drama.

This drew on the curriculum work undertaken in their lessons and introduced the girls to the vital contribution of the Land Army Women. Every class was involved in this collaboration between the Drama & Dance Department and the Music Department.

The girls proudly invited their grandparents for afternoon tea in the style of a street party before presenting their moving and vibrant production and were able to celebrate once more with an evening showing to parents.
