Sixth Form Careers

On Tuesday morning, BGS welcomed representatives from the European Universities Consortium to explore the various study options at European universities.

Sixth Form students met and engaged with representatives from the Universita Bocconi (Milan, Italy), Carl Benz School (Karlsruhe, Germany), Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne (Lausanne, Switzerland), IE University (Madrid and Segovia, Spain), Jacobs University (Bremen, Germany), Modul University (Vienna, Austria) and Versalius College (Brussels, Belgium).

The session gave our Sixth Form students an opportunity to learn about the advantages of studying abroad, exposing themselves to different ideas and ways of thinking.

Mr David Hawkins, who helped facilitates these events with Syzygy Global Education, said: “It was a pleasure to introduce the European Universities Consortium to the girls at Bedford Girls' School, who showed great interest in exploring their global futures at some of Europe's most prestigious institutions.

“As a specialist university advisor working directly with students, it was very encouraging to hear the girls ask such great questions and be open to seeing how a European university could help them realise their ambitions.”
