Junior School Charity

Sophia Potts and Eva Berman (Year 6)

A group of Year 6 pupils have come together to launch a campaign to raise awareness and donations for the plight of Lulu De Vries. Lulu is six years old and lives locally in Bedford. Just after starting school, Lulu was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. The family are raising funds for Lulu to go to America for treatment that is not available in the UK, which would significantly increase her chances of becoming cancer-free.

The Year 6 girls wanted to involve the Junior School girls by asking them to take action by helping out at home. Every girl in the Junior School has been tasked with carrying out odd jobs around the home to raise money. They have each been given a plastic glove to collect donations in return for their hard work. There will be a prize for the class who raises the most money.
