On Tuesday, 11 Year 6 girls had an exciting opportunity to see ACS Egham International School’s exhibition, which highlighted issues such as deforestation, sexism, gender stereotypes and more.

The girls were amazed by the creative and interactive use of iPads, the depth of thinking shown through the displays and the conversations they had with ACS School pupils about their learning journeys. On Wednesday morning, they gave an insightful presentation to the rest of the year group, sharing many ideas, which will inspire their own Build Your Own Country exhibitions. Here are some reflections from the visit:

Mia Gross

“When you asked the pupils questions, their answers showed lots of thought. I was able to find out insightful information.”

Grace Johnson

“I liked how they presented their work – they thought about it and presented it creatively, with focus. When we went to the deforestation presentation, it looked like a mini-rainforest.”

Emmanuelle Devile

“I thoroughly enjoyed how you were able to try out things and see what it would be like. When we went to the forensic display, we investigated hair, fingerprints and we undertook chromatography. It was interesting because you learned from doing it yourself.”
