November 15th 2019
Mrs Copp (Deputy Head of Junior School, Maths Coordinator)
Our budding mathematicians in Year 6 took part in the national Primary Maths Challenge on Friday 15th November.
The initiative encourages enthusiasm, boosts confidence in Mathematics and shows the different ways questions can be asked. It challenges both problem solving and reasoning skills. Girls are also encouraged to think outside of the box. Most importantly, the Primary Mathematics Challenge is fun and every pupil that participates is rewarded.
The girls will find out their results in a couple weeks, with the opportunity to achieve gold, silver and bronze level awards.
