Mrs Schofield (Head of Year 4)
The Year 4 girls have thoroughly enjoyed the final two weeks of term, making the most of the opportunity to work and play in their classes. They have shown real resilience and adaptability as they have navigated the new ‘normal’. Finishing our Unit of Inquiry, which focuses on Conflict in school, has enabled us to draw out deeper thinking through discussions and group thinking. The girls have impressed ups with their grasp of the many causes of conflict and how to look at these from different perspectives.
We as teachers have felt such joy watching the girls interact and learn together again, and feel grateful to have been able to finish the year in our classrooms with the girls. Having been told which classes they will be in next year, there is a real sense of optimism and excitement for the year ahead. We wish the girls happy holidays and look forward to seeing them return ready for the next stage in their learning journey.
