Miss Coote (Year 4 Teacher)
Our Junior School Student Voice have been working hard on their latest project – creating a new playground charter!
Before Half Term, the girls took to the playground to investigate the different views of their peers, using their iPads to record key quotes and opinions. Once we had collated these different perspectives, we were able to narrow these down to several key ideas related to creating a positive playground environment.
Given that we have recently achieved our Junior School IB Primary Years Programme accreditation, we felt it was important to align our playground expectations with the Learner Profile Attributes. By doing this, we have come up with 10 clear focus points for children to follow when enjoying themselves in their break and lunchtimes.
After launching this in our assemblies, we will look forward to highlighting the excellent role models we spot in the coming weeks.
