Mr Castro (Head of Swimming)

On Tuesday 22th February, our Junior School swimmers from Years 4, 5 and 6 travelled to Oundle School to race against Kings Ely and Laxton Junior School.

The 27 BGS swimmers were very excited to race in a brand new 50m facility with an electronic timing board; this fuelled much excitement as it informed swimmers of their time and place.  This was clear to see from Isabella Hoare (Year 4) as she was ensuring she had the biggest smile all the way down her 25m backstroke event.

The Years 5 and 6 won their age groups and the Year 4 achieved a very close 2nd place.
