Mrs Inkson (Head of Year 6)
Last Friday saw the final joint activity day of the year for Year 6 pupils at BGS and Bedford Prep School.
We met at Cople Fields for a fun filled day of outdoor adventures. Activities included team challenges, a scavenger hunt, archery tag, a blindfold obstacle course and a highly competitive game of rounders! Not only was each activity great fun, it was a great opportunity to practise our team work, problem solving and communication skills. How on earth can you have your whole team standing on a blanket and then flip the blanket over – all without a team member touching the grass? Do you trust your team to navigate you blindfolded around an obstacle course? Can you plan a strategy together and compete as a team to beat the other side?
