By Mrs Howard (Year 6 Teacher)
BGS Year 6 were joined by their counterparts from Bedford Prep School for a fun filled and very hot day in the glorious sunshine at Cople fields last Friday.
The day's itinerary was packed with a wide range of engaging experiences, each carefully organised on a rotational schedule. From exhilarating rounds of rounders and archery to thrilling team games and an adventurous treasure hunt, the students had a multitude of options to choose from. Notably, the event even featured an amusing game of "Hungry Hippos," adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings.
Eva Stanbridge (Year 6) said: “it was interesting to meet new people and do new activities in a new place!”
Niamh O’Dell added: “It was overall a very fun day; the activities were based around team building which allowed us to get to know each other really well”
Jessica Sweet (Year 6) said: “It was fun getting to know the boys, we learned how to be risk-takers, communicators and the activities really tested our patience!”.
The students say it all really – we are looking forward to next year already.
