By Mrs Whomsley (Head of Year 5)
On Wednesday, Year 5 had a fantastic morning with their peers from Bedford Prep School (BPS). The year group was split in half, with some visiting BPS and others hosting BPS pupils (this event will be repeated in the summer term with pupils alternating between events).
At BPS, they took part in an exciting parachute challenge designed to build teamwork and communication skills. Meanwhile, at BGS, they explored VR technology, navigated Google Earth, and completed a treasure hunt inspired by last term's Unit of Inquiry investigating explorers and exploration.
The morning provided a great opportunity to collaborate, make new connections, and learn together. It also marked the first of three joint events planned for this year, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
This event highlights the positive collaboration between BGS and BPS, and we look forward to continuing these shared experiences.
